How do I setup Netscape 7.1 for E-mail?

1. Enable POP in valp.net.
2. Open Netscape Mail 7.x.
3. Click ‘Edit,’ and select ‘Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings…’
4. Click ‘Add Account…,’ and click ‘OK.’
5. Choose ‘Email account,’ and click ‘Next.’
6. Enter your name in the ‘Your Name:’ field.
7. Enter your full Valp.Net email address (username@valp.net) in the ‘Email Address:’ field, and click ‘Next.’
8. Select ‘POP’ and enter ‘pop.gmail.com’ in the ‘Incoming Server:’ field.
9. Enter ’smtp.gmail.com’ in the ‘Outgoing Server:’ field.
10. Click ‘Next.’
11. Enter your email address (including ‘@valp.net’ ) in the ‘Incoming User Name:’ field and the ‘Outgoing User Name:’ field, and click ‘Next.’
12. Enter a name for your Netscape Mail account in the ‘Account Name field,’ and click ‘Next.’
13. Click ‘Next,’ and then click ‘Finish.’ (Don’t worry if you get an error message indicating that you cannot connect to pop.gmail.com. Just click ‘OK,’ and continue with the steps below.)
14. Open the ‘Edit’ menu, and select ‘Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings.’
15. Check the box next to ‘Use secure connection (SSL)’ in the ‘Server Settings’ section (the port changes to 995).
16. Enter ‘587′ in the ‘Port:’ field.
17. Change ‘Use secure connection’ to ‘TLS’ under ‘Outgoing Server (SMTP),’ and click ‘OK.’
